COOL HOUSE + TRIPSTOP IN GUADALAJARA
──
When we checked out the vintage radio table in this beautiful house, agh! We wanted to take it home so bad! Our abuelitas used to have things like these, and we just can’t understand why it’s not in our inheritance.
So we mentioned somewhere in our blog before that our first trip together (just as friends) was Puerto Vallarta, but before we got to Puerto Vallarta we actually got to Guadalajara first. It was right on our way to PV when we “felt" something different, and what came next is history. Back then, we had a very historical/traditional idea of Guadalajara. Visiting El Teatro Degollado, El Panteón de Belén, and even the City Zoo. Guess in a way it’s good that we already have all of those touristy places covered so every time we go back we get to explore new things hapening in the city. Guadalajara is really hitting it off with mexican-modern design. And fun. Design in México is always about fun + crafts, just like Mercado México + Romea (breakfast to die for!) which were a few stops we did on this trip. We always feel so lucky our work takes us through so many amazing places in México (a donde apunte la chancla!), 'cause there’s just no better place than home and we love to see how our home is changing and evolving into a very exciting destination for so many people.
Guadalajara: you’re just our favorite stop ever! Shall see you again very soon :)
